Join us at Snowbasin, a stunning resort known for its iconic, steep terrain and breathtaking scenery, and luxury without pretense. With challenging steep terrain. —and with zero crowds—you’ll get maximum turns and big mountain thrills in this 3-day Steeps Camp.
This immersive camp is designed for advanced & expert skiers who want to level up their steep skiing both on-piste and off-piste. Our experienced coaches will help you refine your technique, improve balance and flow, and unlock smoother, more powerful skiing.
For those interested, we’ll also be integrating CARV, skiing’s cutting-edge digital coach, to deliver real-time feedback and performance insights. CARV’s 2025-2026 update will better measure and reward great skiing on Steep pitch – so if you want to level up your SKI: IQ, this is the camp you want to attend. But whether you use CARV or not, you’ll benefit from individualized instruction, video analysis, and professional guidance tailored to your goals.

Getting here
Getting here is easy, and finding lodging is a cinch. Fly right into SLC airport and the resort is just an hour away on the interstate. Although Snowbasin Resort does not have on-mountain lodging, the towns of Hunstville (15 min drive from the resort) Eden (20 minute drive) and Ogden (30 minute drive) all have numerous lodging options, as well as Salt Lake City, or Park City just an hour from the mountain.

2026 Steep Terrain Performance Camp - Snowbasin, UT
Camp Dates: February 24-26, 2026
Daily Itinerary
- 8am – meet for breakfast and boot-up at Earl’s Lodge (optional)
- 9am-12pm – On-snow performance coaching on Snowbasin’s vast terrain both on- and off-piste
- 12pm-1pm – Lunch at one of the resort’s on-mountain lodges. Video review of any footage captured in the morning.
- 1pm-3:30pm – Afternoon ski session and coaching.
- 3:30-4pm – Daily review and wrap-up. Video analysis of any afternoon footage.
Coaching will be based on participants needs and wishes, but will include:
- Stance and balance
- Edging and release
- Turn shape
- Pressure management
- Tactics such as mountain IQ & Choosing your Line
- Important skills every Steeps skier needs to know.

Includes 3 days of skiing & coaching, with daily video analysis.
Lodging and lift tickets not included. IKON pass is accepted at Snowbasin.

$850 Non-refundable deposit is required in order to secure your spot.
Remaining Balance is due no later than Jan 24, 2026
All payments are non-refundable even in the event of sudden illness or injury to you or your family. We recommend that you purchase trip cancellation insurance available through most travel or insurance agencies.

SKI CAMP RELEASE OF LIABILITY
Please Read Carefully. This is a release of liability and waiver of certain legal rights.
The below named participant (“Participant”) understands that skiing, and other snow sliding and snow play sports (“Skiing”) can be hazardous and that injuries are common. Participant accepts and assumes the risks associated with Skiing, including, but not limited to, changing weather conditions, variations and steepness in terrain, snow/ice conditions, avalanches, surface or subsurface conditions, bare spots, creeks and gullies, forest growth, rocks, stumps, course design and maintenance, terrain feature design and maintenance, the use of lifts, collisions with natural or manmade objects or other persons, defective Skiing equipment, grooming and snowmobile equipment, lift towers and other structures and their components, falling, loss of control, selection of terrain, and exceeding one’s ability. Participant is the sole judge of his/her ability to negotiate any terrain or perform any maneuver whether or not directed by someone else. Participant hereby expressly assumes all risk of injury and death associated with Skiing.
Participant also understands that all other activities (“Other Activities”) available at or through “Eric Lipton Ski Training, LLC” DBA Destination Ski Camps, can be dangerous and that injuries are common. Other Activities may take place on or off “Eric Lipton Ski Training, LLC” premises. Participant is the sole judge of his/her ability to participate in any Other Activities whether or not directed by someone else. Participant hereby expressly assumes all risk of injury and death associated with Other Activities.
In consideration for the use of any facilities, services, equipment, transportation, and premises, Participant hereby agrees to release and indemnify, defend, and hold harmless to the extent allowed by law, “Eric Lipton Ski Training, LLC”, and its/their owners, employees, partners, directors, officers, contractors, agents, and affiliated companies from all claims by or on behalf of Participant against “Eric Lipton Ski Training, LLC” arising directly or indirectly out of Participant’s participation in Skiing, Other Activities, and/or the use of any “Eric Lipton Ski Training, LLC” facilities, services, transportation, equipment, or premises. This release includes claims arising from any cause whatsoever, including, but not limited to, negligence on the part of “Eric Lipton Ski Training, LLC”. If Participant is a minor, the parent or guardian agrees to indemnify (including costs and attorney fees) “Eric Lipton Ski Training, LLC” for any claim brought on behalf of any minor named below.

Travel Insurance:
Our insurance carrier requires all participants to carry an Emergency Medical Travel Insurance Policy. We also highly recommend you purchase a Trip Cancellation Insurance policy. These types of policies are available through many providers.*
*There are many medical insurance providers. Make sure risks associated with ski training are covered. For our coaches, we use Seven Corners with coverage under the “Travel Medical Insurance” policy for a cost of less than $100. Please note this is not an endorsement or recommendation.
